Down To The Floor

Unless I can watch Bunso every second, and I mean EVERY second, he has to stay on the floor.

Bunso is now mobile!  From his back, he can now roll over to his stomach, and back again – effortlessly. At times he looks like a log falling from a hill.

This picture was taken last November 8 at 3:30 pm. That was his very first successful roll over on Ate’s bed.

And now look at him.

He must be saying, “Piece of cake!”

It is very exciting, but dangerous too. He thinks the crib is now a prison, while I see the bed as a perilous cliff. The floor – free of anything that can fit into his mouth, I shan’t forget – is the only place where he can roll to his heart’s content and I can have a little bit of peace.

So don’t be surprised if you come visit and I welcome you in a living room with a colorful spread of rubber mats. Look down and you might find a little guy  saying hello to you.
