I Just Baked My First Bread!
November 23rd, 2009
Tada! Here’s my first banana bread!

Forgive me for tooting my own horn, but really, it was great! I never knew the banana bread I buy at bakeshops can be so easily prepared at home, and with the same quality, too (Hubby swears it’s better).

Try putting some chocolate chips and the smell alone will make you feel great!
Congrats, Cess
I got the recipe from Joy of Baking. I used DOLE bananas, not sure if saba is ok, might be matabang for this recipe.
Go and bake! Ang saya! =)
yummy! try to add pineapple tidbits, or crushed pineapple, masarap, that’s how i do mine
i find that using saba is a whole lot better.. gives the bread those purplish streaks. better still if overripe. congrats on your endeavor…patikim naman

That looks great! I love banana bread, but unlike you, I don’t have the time to bake. It’s hard to be a working mom. I hope we can exchange links, too. Thanks!
