Harvest

The pandan plant has a lot of babies, so I took some for a friend and my mom.

The basil is also so lush. I snipped some stems for a friend.

I like giving away some of my harvest to my loved ones. It gives me pleasure to know that they too are able to enjoy what I planted. Then the plants become even more lush, thus there is more harvest to share. Now that’s good karma!

Your plants are doing well. They are lust…err…lush, ready for picking. Yeah, it’s good to share them with friends. What else would you do with a bunch of them? Might as well give them away.

My basil plant has been colonized by a colony of ants. I have since removed some leaves for our consumption and not it looks…bald.

Can I ask for some pandan, Cess :) Pretty please?

I have been trying to grow pandan for years and years. So we would have fragrant rice every meal. But so far, I haven’t been successful. Dapat daw sa swampy soil? Give us naman some tips.

The basil plant my daugther planter was more successful. Kaya lang, the neighbors chickens keep pecking at the leaves. So hindi din nagtagal. :(

    Sana kapitbahay kita .. haha.

my pandan is potted in a big plant box filled with garden soil. prior to that, the garden soil was fertilized with compost. i hope this helps ;)
sure, kung magkapitbahay tayo, you’re welcome to all my plants!
