Do you know that ”kipot” is the term for the body of water between two islands?

“Ilog” is the body of water from the mountains that go to the sea, and ”sapa” is smaller than “ilog?”

Do you know that Gloriamaris is not only a restaurant, but the most beautiful shell in the ocean?

Do you remember that the white in the Philippine flag stands for purity, blue is love for country, while red is bravery?

I have all that information, and more, in my head and for the next couple of weeks, I can enumerate them at the drop of a hat.

My son is taking a series of tests in school this week, thus we are doing a lot of studying. But it sure feels like hubby and I are the ones gearing for those tests!

I will get back to blogging as soon as this is over.

And please visit The Filipino Mom Blog. Take care!

In my time, I memorized all the anyong tubig and anyong lupa … including kapatagang gitnang luzon (central luzon plains?).

Funny it doesn’t seem so long ago.

Hmmm I don’t wanna go back to that kind of memory work tutoring. . It was kind of nightmarish for me. hehehe.
