How To Enjoy A Doughnut
We love Krispy Kreme, and so I bought a box of Original Glazed. The kids were so excited and immediately opened the box as soon as I set it on the table.
Then the two began bickering on which of them got the roundest doughnut, the sweetest doughnut, the cutest, the most wonderful of the pack. That hers was the prettiest but he would argue that she got the weirdest, because his was the coolest.
I got tired of the noise and so I said in a stern voice, “Please! Just sit down and enjoy your doughnut!”
With a mischievous grin, my son said, “Hala! Enjoy agad? Pano step 1 at step 2?” (Uh-oh! Enjoy it right away? What about step1 and step 2?”)
And then he pointed at the box.
Calling KK! Please write here that we have the option of eating the things right off the box.
Very funny kiddo, unfortunately we don’t have an oven.
But I sure am excited to have one. I am overwhelmed with the choices, though. Perhaps you can help me by telling me what kind of oven do you use, and why did you choose that oven. Thanks in advance for participating in the poll below!

Hello Cess, oo nga naman you didn’t follow the step 1 and step 2, ha ha ha. Katuwa talaga kids mo noh. Mas masarap donuts (for me) pag me kasabay hot choco or hot coffee. I also have it heated sa microwave before I eat it.

I was like ano yung step 1 and 2? haha then I saw the picture, ahhh yun pala. Btw I refrain from using the microwave too often, it causes C daw said my cousin doctor, radioactive something.
Me din i always buy the original glazed, less fattening, duh!

Cess,
I just finished off one Original Glazed and One Cookies & Cream. Ewan ko ba, I always say I find KK too sweet, but here I am, unable to resist them.

If it’s only for warming doughnuts, why, you can do with an electric toaster, I guess. But for some real baking .. you need a real oven. Go for an electric oven, Cess. It is more user friendly and bakes more evenly but well, I guess, you can expect your power bill to escalate if baking becomes a hobby. My very first oven is table top, small, good for only one rounded 9 or 10 inch pan at a time, and yes electric. I was very happy with it. I now have an LPG-cum electric range which has a spacious oven that is LPG fueled. Until now, I need my katulong or daughter to fire it. And it seems so wasteful, if I only have to bake a cake or one or two chicken. Now, I want to get something similar to my first one .. but maybe a bit bigger.
