The 4th Year
This new school year is my 7-year old son’s 4th year in school.
This is the 4th year a teacher has asked the students to bring a family picture to school.
And this is also the 4th year we have realized we don’t have a hard copy of any of our family pictures since we got a digital camera.
And so this is also the 4th time hubby and I will either rush to Kodak or have a picture churned out by our printer.
The 4th time I’ll wish teachers go digital and allow students to bring a memory card or a CD. Or perhaps she can put her email address on the homework notebook.
For the 4th time, we will make a resolution to have our pictures on print.
And for the 4th time, we will surely forget about it. Until the next school year rolls in.

You know what I’ve been doing, Cess?
I’d keep the homework when it’s been returned by the teacher. And recycle the family picture for the next year. haha! You should too.

lol oh I remember those days. Fortunately for me since I am so camera-trigger happy I take a family photo every Christmas day.

haha! I think that happens to most of us. in this digital age, we simply neglect having e-photos printed.
clever tip there by Chats. good thing I kept Nico’s workbooks last school year.am pretty sure the Teacher will ask a family portrait again.

same here, same here, and i never learned, every year, natataranta, so we end up printing na lang with our printer. of course, kodak quality is much different.

What a coincidence, Yohan was required to bring a family picture too. Most of our photos are also stored in the computer so I had to print one for school purposes.

That’s the reason why I wouldn’t budge when my sisters ribbed me about disposing my Canon camera for a digicam. With film kasi, you are comnpelled to have them developed.
Now with the digicam, we still have to go to the studio to have our family portrait.

Haven’t had photos printed too, we have a lot of prints, pre-digital camera and when the children are still very very young

Oo nga… magdala na lang ng thumbrive. Or better yet, computer na may internet connection and then the kids with online photo albums can show it from there. Hi tech na, educational pa for computer literacy!

Ha,ha, ha. Ces, this post is so funny, bringing out the crazy side of the Lady. Pero yang mga making notes to ourselves — am so familiar with that. Parang New year’s resolution, ano? Di ka nagiisa.
