From the Supermarket
SM Supermarket was offering a buy 1 take 1 promo on their Pepsi softdrinks.
Yes, that’s a “was” because I took the last bottles on the shelf, hehe! I am expecting company this weekend so this is a great bargain. But maybe there is more in the stockroom for the other customers.

Colgate is giving away a free Spongebob pencil case with a sharpener and 6 colored pencils for every purchase of a 150ml toothpaste.
One for my son and one for my daughter. Well, at least we won’t run out of toothpaste for quite a while.

I saw Goya Dark Mint chocolate on the store shelf. All those posts on Twitter flashed in my mind, about how heavenly Goya Dark Mint is and that it is almost always sold out.
I have tasted those with almonds and rice crispies and have never seen a dark mint. So I felt like I’ve found a real four-leaf clover when I saw the boxes sitting on the shelf, and there were only 4 left!
The verdict: It’s ok for me. It doesn’t make me go on a hunt for more of the chocolates, but I won’t say no if I’m offered a piece. In case you haven’t tried this, perhaps my son’s reaction will give you an idea.
“That’s strange. This chocolate tastes like toothpaste.”
Hmm.. and I would have to agree. It’s like a chocolate-flavored breath mint.

So I hear/read on twitter those Goya mint chocs are the rage of the day… I love choco-mint flavored ice cream. So siguro magugusuhan ko din si Goya.
I could imagine his facial reaction and twang as he said that, haha!

though i’m resisting to give in since I should be on a healthy diet. but maybe, I can buy for my two boys.
sang SM supermarket yan? yung dito sa malapit sa amin (pasig hypermart) wala kong makitang goyo dark chocs.

Oo, its like eating toothpaste with chocolate or vice versa. Haven’t tried that Goya yat. Meron dati nagbigay ng mint chocolate din but I forgot the name, super sarap, hint of mint lang kaya sarap.
Re buy 1 take 1 I get those too, pag kelangan ko. And those freebies with products we use, meron din kami

WHat I noticed with us Pinoys is our lvoe for soft drinks(COke and Pepsi). When I was still in Manila my brothers and sisters hardl drnk water, we consume about 3-4 litres of Pepsi or Coke a day.
Now that I am overseas I noticed most Chinese drink more water and tea .Mind you not cold but warm water (cleansing) thats why most Singaporeans are slim.
Maybe thats the reason why most Pinoys become fat faster because of too much sugar. Go easy on the soft drinks!
