’tis the season for nightmares
My friend Sunshine wrote about a nightmare she had last night. Hey, is it the season for nightmares? I just had one of my own last night too.
Oyo Boy Sotto, who was supposedly my brother, was a vampire. My sister and I forced him inside a room. I was trying to keep his mouth closed, because he was growing fangs, and I could feel his teeth on my palm. When I shoved Oyo my brother in the room, my sister promptly closed the door, and I installed pad locks.
It was actually a heartbreaking scene you know. Oyo seemed to want to bite us, but I could see in his eyes that he was scared too.
Then we dashed off inside a silver Vios. My sister was there, and our youngest sister was supposedly only a year old, my mom, my dad and boxes and black garbage bags filled with our stuff. How we fit inside a Toyota Vios I would never understand.
My parents apparently had no idea that Oyo their son was a vampire. I confessed what my sister and I had done while asking for their forgiveness for having abandoned our brother in the house. I explained we had to leave right away because I was certain Oyo could escape and hunt us. I drove furiously because we had to go cross-country. And for some reason, I knew we were in the US.
And then I woke up, and realized that it was just a dream, never mind that my heart was hammering in my chest. I told my husband about it, and he too, had a bad dream. Hmm.
I wonder who else had nightmares last night.
And oh, I’m not Oyo’s fan. Nothing wrong with him, I’m just not inclined to following his career or watching his shows.

ann:
Nanonood ka yata ng ..ano ba yung show na yun sa abs ni oyo boy? Then yung topic sa sis nung isang araw about nightmares din.
LC: naku, hindi. hindi talaga ako fan niyan. kung si milo ventimiglia pa yan pwede ba
pero kung nasa dream ko si milo baka samahan ko siya sa kwarto hehehe!

LC: uh-oh i wasnt able to light any candles last night, di ako nakabili

Dreams, especially one that vivid, may have messages for us. But it’s so hard to interpret them ano. Meron kasing straightfoward ang message. Yung iba, grabe ang symbolisms. I also have dreamt very vivid dreams which I’d want to blog about sometime soon.
Season for nightmares? Maybe. I think you must be the third one I read who blogged about bad dreams.
LC: iniisip ko nga rin, what could be the meaning? but since I couldn’t come up with any, i decided to leave it at that, hehee!

I dreamnt that I was visiting a patient who just had brain surgery. When I checked her head, it was like an orange. I had to peel the rind to see hat’s underneath.
Stuff out of a horror movie or an alien flick? Mad scientist, maybe? He he he.

Oyo and your sister are actually YOU. Oyo is the reflection of your strong personality and your sister is your weaker side. Since you’re afraid of Oyo and ran with your sister, it seemed that you’re in a negative mood or there’s a situation that you cannot decide what to do or which way to go.
belated Happy Halloween!
LC: ang galing naman nito! napaisip mo ako! thanks malaya!

Hi Mmy-Cess, that was based on what I’ve learned about dreams here in our office. don’t take it seriously but just in case, it’s up to you. It’s fun to know the meaning of our dreams, sometimes it serves as warning of tha bad and good things to happen.
God Bless!

Dreams can be quite intriguing. Sometimes I get weird dreams and it’s hard to connect them with real life but I believe every dream has a greater meaning.

I used to have a recurring nightmare - same scenes, same people, just with different weapons or styles for the person who wants to kill me. The dreams stopped after I came to terms with my own fears and was finally able to face the person. I’ll write about it soon.
Buti na lang at wala naman akong nightmares the past days. ‘Di pa naman ako nakadalaw this year dahil me pasok ako yesterday. I opted to go to the gym, met up with a friend for snacks and spent the rest of the time at home to rest. I wasn’t even able to light candles - my bad talaga!
Happy weekend!

hi cess,
dreams are truly intriguing aren’t they? makes you stop and think about what prompted it in the first place. glad to see that there was nothing seriously wrong with your son–but i am sorry about the scare. that is terrible.
hope all is well LC.

uy nightmare, weird huh of all people si Oyo Boy pa ang kapatid mo??
;-P
I had a nightmare last week & it did scare me until I realised I was dreaming. But you’ll laugh when you learnt what it’s about… I was playing with Kelvin in front of a mirror. I asked him if my face was big. He said ‘no’. Then I looked in the mirror, bent my head to squash my “neck” which always magnifies my double chin. Then I noticed the double-chin growing bigger. I panicked but I couldn’t do anything. At this point I don’t know where Kelvin was because I couldn’t even see my face just this massive mound of flesh that is my double-decker chin!
